Worship during the Covid-19 restrictions

Although the church building has had to close, worship is NOT closed!

Ephesians 2:19-22

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

The building is bricks and mortar; the church is the people. To ensure that we maintain our fellowship, we have adopted a range of strategies:

Rev’d Bill Young has created a podcast of music, bible study, prayer  and reflection. You can find it here: https://revdbill.uk/worship-material

Rev’d Debbie Brown hosts an act of worship via phone conferencing every Sunday at 11am. Details can be found on the weekly LINK.

Information about our community and the wider church is distributed weekly via the LINK news sheet. Paper copies of this are distributed to those who cannot access online material. It is also available via email, Facebook and the church website. The weekly order of worship for the URC weekly Sunday worship (in a radio-broadcast style at 10am) is available in the same way.

Thank you to all those within the church family who have been keeping in touch with each other by phone, email, letters and cards and now, 1:1 socially-distanced visits!

Please contact an Elder if you wish us to hold an issue in prayer. GDPR restrictions mean that we cannot publish such prayers on the website, but with your permission we could share such requests with the Eldership.
