Charity Project 2020 – Coventry Street Pastors Initiative has launched!

See the launch PowerPoint HERE: Street Pastors

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are currently unable to organise any group-based fundraising. Please continue to collect your loose change and to raise funds in any SAFE way during this period,

There will be many ways to help with fundraising this year, which will be posted on the website, Facebook and via notices at church.

MANY THANKS to those who are already donating / making plans!

If you are in church you may see some Flip Flop Pots. The idea is to take this pot away and drop any odd bit of loose change into it. It can be brought back at any point for emptying (so it can be taken away to be refilled!) – or kept until the end of December.

If there are none in church but you would like a Flip Flop Pot, let Janet Powell know and she will get one to you as soon as possible.

Plan Ahead!  South Earlsdon Neighbourhood Association Street Sale

This takes place on the first Saturday of September each year and attracts hundreds of people who wander the streets near the Memorial Park to bag some bargains!

The association have kindly offered driveways to anybody from church who would like to fundraise for Street Pastors – after an initial £5 pitch rental all profits are yours!

There are never enough refreshment stalls…so if you would like to offer drinks and cakes / snacks…or declutter your home…

Speak to Janet and Steve Powell, or Bill and Erica Young if you might be interested.

Keeping track of total raised

A noticeboard at the back of church has been transformed into the sort of road that Street Pastors will travel along throughout their night patrols.  As funds are raised, a new flip flop will be added for each £50. As you can see, we are off to a good start!
